About the House of Mercy
A nonprofit dedicated to bringing hope, help, and healing to the most vulnerable members of society.

Compassion, made practical
House of Mercy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing hope, help, and healing to the most vulnerable members of society. We are committed to offering practical aid, emotional support, and spiritual encouragement to individuals and families in need.
We believe in the power of compassion and community. Our team works tirelessly to bridge the gap between those willing to help and those who need it the most. Together with our global partners, volunteers, and supporters, we create a network of care that brings immediate relief and long-term impact.
Twenty years, one transformation
Drag the handle across the photo — what began as a bare, unfinished building has grown, year after year, into a home that shelters hundreds of lives.

Serving those in need
Our mission is to serve those in need by providing life-changing assistance and fostering sustainable development. We focus on meeting urgent physical needs — food, shelter, and medical care — while also addressing the emotional and spiritual needs of the people we help.
We are guided by the principles of love, kindness, and respect for human dignity. Whether through humanitarian aid, educational programs, or emergency relief, our goal is to restore hope and inspire positive change.
Caring for the whole person
At the heart of our work is our ministry, rooted in faith and driven by a deep sense of compassion. We believe that by serving others, we are also serving a higher purpose, caring for the whole person — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Our ministry extends beyond geographical borders, touching lives in local and global communities. We partner with churches, faith-based organizations, and individuals who share our vision of transforming lives through acts of mercy.
An internationally governed foundation
The House of Mercy operates under KPK Ukraine — a publicly approved Norwegian humanitarian foundation that has been our main partner and sponsor since 2001. This governance means the foundation is vetted, accountable, and internationally trusted.
Because of this structure, the foundation does not accept direct public donations. Supporters and partners join by application, and our team is then personally in touch.
